Cabin Crew (Flight Attendant)

Erbil International Airport

Join the Fly Erbil cabin team: keep every passenger safe, deliver warm Kurdish hospitality in the sky and fly across the Middle East and Europe. No experience needed — full paid training provided.

About the Role

Fly Erbil is looking for friendly, confident and safety-minded people to join our cabin crew. Based at Erbil International Airport, you will be the face of Fly Erbil on board: responsible first for the safety of every passenger, and then for the warm Kurdish hospitality our guests remember. You do not need airline experience — we will give you full, paid training before your first flight. What matters is your attitude, your communication and your wish to look after people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete pre-flight safety and security checks of the cabin, galley and emergency equipment
  • Take part in the crew briefing and know your role in every normal and emergency procedure
  • Welcome and board passengers, check seating and secure the cabin for take-off and landing
  • Deliver the safety demonstration and make clear, calm announcements in English, Kurdish and Arabic
  • Serve meals, drinks and on-board sales with care, accuracy and a genuine smile
  • Look after passengers who need extra help: families with infants, elderly passengers, unaccompanied minors and passengers with reduced mobility
  • Give first aid and manage medical situations, disruptive passengers and emergencies calmly and by the book
  • Complete flight reports, cash and duty-free reconciliation and safety reports accurately
  • Work as one team with the Senior Cabin Crew, the flight deck and ground staff

Requirements

  • Age 20 to 32 at the date of application
  • High school certificate (12th grade) or higher; a diploma or university degree is an advantage
  • Good spoken and written English — you will be tested at the assessment day
  • Height of at least 160 cm (female) or 170 cm (male), with an arm reach of 212 cm on tiptoes
  • Weight in proportion to height and good general fitness
  • Able to swim at least 50 metres unaided
  • No visible tattoos or piercings when in the Fly Erbil uniform
  • Able to pass the aviation medical examination and a security background check
  • A valid passport with at least 12 months validity and the ability to travel without visa restrictions to our routes
  • Willing to live within 60 minutes of Erbil International Airport and to work early mornings, nights, weekends, public holidays and overnight stops

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Fluent Kurdish (Sorani or Badini) and Arabic in addition to English
  • A further language such as Turkish, German, Persian, Swedish or Dutch
  • Experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, retail, healthcare or customer service
  • Previous cabin crew experience or a valid cabin crew attestation
  • A first-aid or nursing qualification

Your Training

  • A full, paid initial cabin crew course before your first flight
  • Safety and emergency procedures: evacuation, fire fighting, ditching and survival
  • Aviation first aid and medical emergencies
  • Aviation security, dangerous goods and crew resource management
  • Service excellence, grooming and the Fly Erbil way of welcoming guests
  • Supervised familiarisation flights, followed by yearly recurrent training

What We Offer

  • A competitive monthly salary plus flying allowances and per diems on overnight stops
  • Full paid training and your Fly Erbil uniform
  • Health insurance
  • Staff travel benefits on the Fly Erbil network for you and your family, in line with company policy
  • Transport to and from the airport for early and late duties
